What does freefall feel like?
Freefall is not the “roller coaster drop” feeling most people expect it would be. It is a comfortable sensation of floating and support, with a slight pressure of air against your body.
Freefall is the closest thing to human flight, especially when falling “relative” with other skydivers. In relation to other skydivers in the air, a jumper can move forward, backwards, up, down and all around in the sky. He or she can dive vertically over 200 mph or achieve horizontal movement over the ground up to 60 mph.
Do I have go “Tandem” for my first jump?
No. You can skydive on your own with your own parachute for the first time. Tandem just makes the experience a little easier and quicker because you have a parachutist-in-command present. If you want to jump “on your own” call High Sky Adventures Parachute Club at 719-784-4007.

If you booked through travel agent your voucher will be subject to the same fee. Your $50 dollar PP reservation deposit is transferable to another date and time if the weather is bad.
I see you offer skydiving through Groupon and other travel sites. Can I get that price?
Groupon and other booking sites are service based and discount based offerings for consumers. Our business is all based on demand and availability. To best explain; Groupon effectively (not literally) pre purchases an economy block and this is resold at a discount rate to give consumers some advantages. The amount of discounted vouchers sold is limited. If your coming with other voucher holders you can book direct and we can offer you a discount on the list price. We DO NOT OFFER refunds on discount vouchers purchased through other tour companies.
- If the weather is bad can I get a refund on my prepaid voucher?
Once you reserve a seat you can not get a refund on your voucher. We require a non refundable $50 dollar deposit per person. When you book you are agreeing to use the voucher as your security deposit. We allow for immediate reschedule. It is important to use the voucher before the expiration date to get the full value of the ticket.
